Description
When pumping system is started and stopped gradually, harmful surges does not occur. However, should an electric power failure take place, the abrupt stopping of the pump(s) can cause dangerous surges in the system which could result in severe equipment damage.
The CLA-VAL 50-55F damps the respective overpressure and prevents any additional surge build-up by its controlled closure.
